Heavy truck traffic restricted on federal highways in Bashkiria
Due to abnormal heat, a ban on the movement of trucks exceeding permissible weight limits remains in effect on several federal highways in Bashkiria and the Orenburg Region. The measures are aimed at preserving the roads and will last until the end of the hot weather, reports Uralupravtodor.
In the republic, this concerns the M-5 "Ural" Moscow — Ryazan — Penza — Samara — Ufa — Chelyabinsk; M-5 "Ural" (access to Ufa); M-5 "Ural" (old route); M-5 "Ural" (old route via Tyupkildy); M-7 "Volga" Moscow — Vladimir — Nizhny Novgorod — Kazan; M-7 "Volga" old route (Kushnarenkovo village); R-240 Ufa — Orenburg; R-240 Ufa — Orenburg (western bypass of Ufa); and R-240 Ufa — Orenburg (access to M-12 "Vostok").
Restrictions for heavy trucks in the Orenburg Region: A-305 Orenburg — Ilek to the border with Kazakhstan; M-5 "Ural" (access to Orenburg); M-5 "Ural" (access to the "Orsk" checkpoint); R-239 Kazan — Orenburg — Akbulak; R-239 (Orenburg bypass); and R-240 Ufa — Orenburg.
