Eleven people died in water bodies of Bashkiria over weekend
In the Republic, 11 people drowned over two weekend days, including a child. Incidents on the water occurred in the Alsheevsky, Sterlibashevsky, Uchalinsky, Chishminsky, Karmaskalinsky, Blagoveshchensky, and Ufimsky districts, as well as in Neftekamsk. Rescuers also prevented two vacationers from going under. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan provides such data. The agency reminded that one should not enter the water while intoxicated or leave children unattended near the water. Residents of the Republic are advised to choose only official bathing places where rescuers are on duty, and the bottom has been checked.
