Resident of Bashkiria to be sent to penal colony for repeat drunk driving
A resident of the Alsheevsky District will be sent to a penal colony for repeat drunk driving. According to the republic's prosecutor's office, in May of this year, the man once again got behind the wheel of a VAZ 21102 vehicle while in a state of alcoholic intoxication.
Traffic police officers detained him. The defendant pleaded guilty.
Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months' imprisonment to be served in a strict-regime penal colony, with a deprivation of the right to operate vehicles for 4 years. The car was confiscated for state revenue.
