Mass checks of drivers have begun in Bashkiria
Mass checks of drivers are taking place in Bashkiria, reports the traffic police of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The measures are aimed at preventing accidents and suppressing gross traffic violations: driving while intoxicated, driving without a license or after having it revoked, and violating rules for transporting children.
This morning, crews of a separate specialized battalion of the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Bashkortostan are carrying out driver checks on sections of the following highways:
- 1317 and 1467 km of the M5 highway;
- 103 km of the Ufa - Yanaul highway;
- 135 and 198 km of the Ufa - Orenburg highway;
- 6 and 101 km of the access road to M12 of the R-240 highway.
