Passengers of Ufa – Sochi flight stuck at departure airport for 14 hours
According to the Ufa air hub's online scoreboard, a Nordwind Airlines flight to Sochi was delayed by almost 14 hours. The plane was scheduled to depart on June 29 at 23:15, but the departure was rescheduled to 13:10 on June 30.
Also, Utair airline flights to Sochi and Ikar flights to Kazan departed with delays. Flights to Igarka by Utair and to Moscow (Domodedovo) by the carrier S7 Airlines were canceled.
According to Rosaviatsia, the flight delays occurred due to temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft because of the threat of drone attacks.
