Residents of Bashkiria warned about possible flooding
In the republic, water levels in small rivers are expected to rise due to heavy rains.
According to the Bashkir Hydrometeorological Center, due to a cyclone over the Southern Urals, rain of varying intensity is forecast throughout the republic.
On small steppe and mountain rivers, rises in water levels and increased inflow to hydraulic structures are expected from June 23 to June 28. Forecasters note that in some places, water may spill onto floodplains and flood low-lying areas.
