In the Republic of Bashkortostan, river levels have risen over the last week. This is due to significant rainfall.
According to Bashhydromet, the level of the Belaya River in the Ufa area rose from -49 to +31 centimeters between June 14 and 21. Near Sterlitamak, the Belaya rose from 117 to 137 centimeters during the same period. The level of the Ufa River near Shaksha increased by 66 centimeters over the week.
High water levels in the rivers of the Republic of Bashkortostan improve conditions for navigation, the operation of agricultural irrigation systems, and water intakes.
