Bashkiria resident deprived of freedom for drunk driving
In the Karmaskalinsky district, a man will have to serve a term of imprisonment for drunk driving. According to the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in March 2026, an intoxicated man was driving a VAZ-2114 car. While driving at the 7th kilometer of the Beketovo – Bulgakovo highway, he was involved in a traffic accident. The results of a medical examination confirmed the presence of alcohol intoxication. The driver had previously been held criminally liable for similar offenses. The defendant pleaded guilty. The court sentenced him to 1 year and 10 months' imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony, with the deprivation of the right to engage in driving-related activities for 3 years.
