In Bashkiria National Park, speleologists are exploring Cave of Dreams

In Bashkiria National Park, a speleological expedition took place in the Cave of Dreams, which connects underground to the Sosenki Cave.

Over several years, the explored part of this system has grown to almost several kilometers. Inside are watered meanders, waterfalls, narrow squeezes, small siphons, and a true underground gift — the Snow Queen's Hall, one of the most beautiful places in the caves of the Urals.

"Walking, crawling, ascending with a jumar, and diving underground, I felt a bit envious of the speleologists. I tried to imagine how they were moving through these places for the first time in history, what they were feeling, and I think I could not fully understand it. Because the feeling of a pioneer is impossible to describe; it must be experienced, and that is exactly what speleology provides," shared expedition participant Oleg Chegodaev, along with stunning photographs.

Speleologists from the Republic of Bashkortostan, Orenburg, and Magnitogorsk continue to explore Sosenki–Gryozy, as the caves have not yet said their final word, the national park's press service noted.
