Bashkiria has risen to 13th place in federal tourism rating
In 2025, the republic was visited by 2.4 million tourists.
At an operational government meeting at the Center for Management of the Republic of Bashkortostan, an increase in tourist flow to the region was noted. Based on 2025 results, the republic rose in the national ranking from 16th to 13th place. 2.4 million guests visited Bashkiria — 8.2% more than in 2024, reported the head of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan,n Svetlana Vereshchagina. She recalled that in last year's rating of the Volga Federal District, the republic was behind Tatarstan, the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and the Samara Region, but has now moved up to 3rd place.
