Head of Bashkiria spoke about development of Ufa hospice

The project has gone beyond the scope of a social institution, becoming a center of competence in palliative care.

On June 13, during a meeting between Radiy Khabirov and participants of the first module of the course "Normalization of life in neuropsychiatric and children's residential institutions" of the educational program "Institute of Advisors for Social Change," they also discussed the development of palliative care, support for families with disabled children, the activities of neuropsychiatric residential institutions, and the role of non-profit organizations in social policy.

In response to a question about the development of the Ufa hospice, the head of the region noted that the project had long since gone beyond the scope of a social institution, having essentially become a center of competence in palliative care.

Participants in the meeting paid special attention to supporting veterans of the special military operation. The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan emphasized that the republic is forming a comprehensive system of assistance for military personnel and their family members.
