Camera trap in Bashkiria captured heron, moose, and wild boar
The footage shows the richness and diversity of the republic's fauna.
In the Beloozersky Nature Reserve of the Gafuriysky District, a camera trap captured several species of animals at once. The lens caught a grey heron, which is often found in local water bodies and marshes, as well as a moose and a wild boar that came to a feeder and a salt lick.
In total, more than 40 species of mammals and over 120 species of birds inhabit the territory of the reserve, including rare ones listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
