On evening of June 9 in Republic of Bashkortostan, it will be possible to see conjunction of Venus and Jupiter

On June 9, in the evening sky, a beautiful astronomical event will take place: Venus and Jupiter will meet in the constellation Gemini, the Ufa Planetarium reported.

In recent weeks, these two brightest planets have been slowly approaching each other, and now their meeting has occurred. This spectacle should not be missed and is best photographed, experts say.

Immediately after sunset, the planets, like two brightest stars, will be visible low above the horizon in the northwest, in the direction where the Sun set. It will be easy to discern them even with the naked eye.

For observation, it is better to choose a place where the sunset is visible, so it is not blocked by houses and trees.

Jupiter will disappear below the horizon at 00:15. Venus will follow it 15 minutes later.

In the following evenings, the planets will begin to move apart, and Jupiter will move lower and further to the right of Venus.
