In Bashkiria, tourists were warned about invasion of bears
High bear activity has been recorded in the Iremel Nature Park. There are particularly many of the bruins on the popular route from the Tyulyuk checkpoint, the park directorate warned tourists. In this regard, it is temporarily not recommended to stay overnight in tents in the vicinity of Mount Iremel.
Mountain enthusiasts were reminded of safety rules: it is mandatory to register your route and inform the park staff about your visit; it is advisable to walk only in groups.
It is better to talk loudly, sing, or use a whistle on the route to scare off bears with noise. It is better not to leave food or trash on the trails. And when encountering a predator, do not approach it, try to feed it, or photograph it.
