In the Mishkinsky District, as part of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project, 4 km of the Ufa – Birsk – Yanaul highway were renovated. Work was carried out between the villages of Sosnovka and Oktyabr. The contractor has almost finished the work; only the shoulders need to be reinforced, and road markings applied.
As noted by Lyubov Minakova, the Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Bashkortostan, this road is one of the most important transport arteries of the republic. It is part of Russia's backbone road network, as it provides a transport link for residents of the republic's remote northwestern districts to Ufa. Traffic on this road reaches 24 thousand vehicles per day.
In total, plans call for repairing 28 km of the Ufa – Birsk – Yanaul road in 2026. The pavement will be updated on eight sections of the highway in the Birsky, Burayevsky, Kaltasinsky, Mishkinsky, and Yanaulsky districts.
