In Bashkiria, more than 9.5 thousand children have been born since beginning of year
Exactly that many birth certificates were issued in the first five months of 2026, reports the Social Fund branch for the Republic. More than 125 million rubles were allocated for their payment.
According to statistics, more boys were born than girls: their number is 6% higher. The average weight of the babies was 3.3 kg, and their height was almost 52 cm.
738 infants were born large, weighing over 4 kg, and the weight of three boys exceeded 5 kg.
