In Traffic Police of Bashkiria, they urged to be more attentive on roads
On the territory of the Republic, the "Opposing Lane" preventive measure is starting.
In the Republican State Traffic Inspectorate, they note that it is precisely driving into the opposing lane that entails the most severe consequences, in which drivers and passengers receive serious injuries, up to and including fatal ones.
In this regard, from May 25 to May 31, traffic inspectors will be on duty on sections of roads where driving into the opposing lane occurs most frequently.
"Dear drivers, the State Traffic Inspectorate reminds you that you must not overtake where it is prohibited or unsafe! Be careful on the road, minimize the execution of dangerous maneuvers, especially if there is a child in the car besides you," appealed the head of the Traffic Police of Bashkiria, Vladimir Sevastyanov, to the residents of the Republic.
