Aeration of air has begun to be actively used on roads of Ufa
In Ufa, aeration technology is being actively used to improve street conditions on hot days. During the summer, watering machines of the public amenities service refresh urban spaces daily by directing streams of water upward over the roadways, the Ufa administration reports.
Using the aeration method reduces dust levels – the air becomes cleaner, especially during rush hours, and smog is reduced, since regular ventilation of the surface layer lowers the concentration of exhaust fumes. Comfort for pedestrians is also ensured – even on a hot day, it is easier to breathe in areas where aeration has been carried out.
