Usually, chestnuts bloom in late April — early May, but this year, due to weather conditions, flowering began later.
Snow-white chestnut "candles" decorate the city streets. In Ufa, these trees can be found near the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" on Lenin Street, on Kirov Street, in a courtyard on October Avenue, next to the Puppet Theater, and also in the Botanical Garden.
In addition, a whole Chestnut Alley has been planted in the Kuznetsovsky Zaton microdistrict. Currently, the peak of flowering is being observed here, reports the administration of the Kirovsky district. Chestnuts bloom for up to 3 weeks.
