In the Beloozersky wildlife sanctuary in the Gafuriysky District, a camera trap captured real forest life. The region's Ministry of Ecology provided the video. In the footage, a badger family walks along a path, and a cow moose with a calf nearby approaches a salt lick. In a clearing, two wild boars are sorting things out, and among them is a rare white albino boar. A little way off stands a moose, as if pondering whether it should eat salt or watch what is happening. Beloozersky is not just a protected area, but a real home for many animals and birds. More than 40 species of mammals and 120 species of birds live here. Moose, beavers, lynxes, foxes, martens, muskrats — everyone feels safe. And such rare species as the greylag goose, Eurasian otter, whooper swan, common goldeneye, and Eurasian curlew are under special protection. They are listed in the Red Data Book of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Earlier, an industrious badger was caught on camera.
