Forest is on fire in Uchaly District of Bashkiria
A forest fire has occurred on the territory of the Uchaly forestry in the Uchaly District, the regional state committee for emergency situations reports.
According to the regional Ministry of Forestry, as of 8:00 a.m., the fire is still burning. The fire has been contained over an area of 8.9 hectares. 14 personnel and 5 units of forest firefighting equipment are involved in the suppression efforts.
Also, over the past 24 hours, a dry vegetation fire occurred in the Sterlibashevo District.
In total, since the beginning of 2026, seven forest fires and 160 dry grass fires have occurred in Bashkiria.
