Nizhny Novgorod resident to pay nearly 2 million rubles for illegal landfill
A pile of construction waste and soil was illegally organized behind residential buildings in the village of Krutaya, Kstovsky District. The landfill, covering more than 537 square meters, was discovered beneath a power line in 2022. They initially wanted to place responsibility on the local administration, but the court established the real culprit — a resident of the Zhdanovsky settlement. The man admitted his guilt and will pay a 1.9 million ruble fine into the district budget.
