As explained in the Ufa City Planetarium, after Saturn passed its conjunction with the Sun on March 25, it was supposed to be visible in the morning sky, but for the last few months, it rose only a few minutes before the Sun and was not visible against the bright sky. Gradually, its visibility is improving; it is rising earlier and earlier, and by the end of May, it will rise 1 hour and 40 minutes before the Sun, appearing low on the eastern horizon before dawn in the constellation Cetus.
On May 14, a full Moon will help to see it in the morning sky. It will rise at 03:55 in the morning, and three days before the new moon, it will appear as a narrow crescent: only 11% of the lunar disk will be illuminated by the Sun. Saturn will rise 20 minutes later. And just before dawn, these celestial bodies will be visible in the east very low above the horizon: Saturn — in the constellation Cetus, the Moon — in the constellation Pisces.
