

The 2026 laureates will receive commemorative statuettes and diplomas.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree establishing a national prize in Russia for folk arts and crafts. This was reported on the Cabinet's website.
In 2026, the award will be presented for the first time. The competition is held in 10 categories, including the best craft master, the best young specialist, the best enterprise, and the best social, educational, and mentorship projects. The prize will also be awarded for the best tourist route to places where folk crafts are practiced.
Local government bodies, enterprises, individual entrepreneurs, and self-employed citizens will be able to participate in the competition. The decision to award the prizes is made by a special council under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
