Short work week awaits residents of Bashkiria after May holidays
Residents of the republic will have to work for only four days, from May 12 to May 15 inclusive.
After the extended May holidays, residents of Bashkiria face a short workweek. Residents of the republic will have to work for only four days — from May 12 to May 15 — the regional State Labor Inspectorate reports.
The additional days off are related to the celebration of Victory Day. This year, May 9 fell on a Saturday, so the day off was moved to Monday, May 11. Thus, Russians, including the residents of Bashkiria, are off from May 9 to May 11 inclusive.
For those who work a six-day workweek, the days off will be only May 9 and 10. Employees who will work on May 9 are entitled to double pay.
