In city in Republic of Bashkortostan, street lighting will be turned off to save money
In Yanaul, street lighting will be temporarily absent on some streets with low traffic intensity. The administration warned about this. It is explained that such a measure is linked to a shortfall in the city budget's planned revenues. Lighting near social facilities remains.
"In the coming days, temporary outages are possible on other sparsely populated streets as well, but main routes will be lit to ensure safety. We are making every effort to stabilize the situation and restore street lighting," commented the Yanaul mayor's office.
