In Bashkiria, the level of the main rivers has increased over the past day. According to Bashhydromet, the Belaya River in the Ufa area near the Friendship Monument rose by 10 centimeters, in the Sterlitamak area by 4 cm. The level of the Ufa River near the Shaksha microdistrict increased by 47 centimeters over the past day.

As a reminder, this year, despite large snow reserves, the rise in water levels in the republic's main rivers turned out to be significantly lower than the forecasts, which had already been calculated for a medium-scale flood. The maximum rise of the Belaya River in the Ufa area was expected to reach 640-740 centimeters, but was actually 507 centimeters, that is, 1.33 meters below the minimum forecast. At the same time, the norm for the Belaya in the Ufa area is considered to be a spring rise of up to 730 centimeters.
