Homework is losing its meaning due to AI — Rosobrnadzor
Such a trend is a "big challenge" for the entire education system.
Some homework assignments in schools and universities are losing their value because neural networks perform them with ease. The head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev, stated this to TASS.
"If what is assigned by a teacher is successfully solved by artificial intelligence, then, speaking as a parent, there is no point in this assignment. The only point would be if the teacher tries to catch the student: whether they did it themselves or not," he noted.
At the same time, Anzor Muzaev emphasized that humanities assignments, such as memorizing a poem or retelling a text, still require the student's personal involvement and cannot be performed by AI.
He called this trend a "big challenge" for the entire education system — both school and higher education. According to him, serious solutions are needed to maintain the effectiveness of learning in the new conditions.
