Last year, thanks to the implementation of the "Long and Active Life" national project, more than 1.8 million people underwent clinical examinations and medical check-ups. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Of these, about 221.3 thousand people underwent preventive medical check-ups, and more than 1.670 million people underwent clinical examinations. This includes the extended clinical examination of the adult population — over 204 thousand residents of the republic, and the reproductive health clinical examination — almost 532.4 thousand people.
"Based on the results of the conducted examinations, 370,560 cases of diseases were identified for the first time," the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan noted. "The results obtained during clinical examinations and medical check-ups allow for the timely detection of diseases and, accordingly, receiving treatment on time, avoiding the development of complications. When the risk of developing diseases is identified, patients receive all necessary recommendations from doctors, compliance with which prevents the development of pathologies."
National projects were developed on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
