The young Moon will be next to Venus.
As they explained at the Ufa Planetarium, one needs to orient oneself by the Moon. The new moon occurred on April 17, and now only a thin slice is visible in the sky. It is currently in the western sky, not very high above the horizon. The bright star under the young crescent is Venus. Both celestial bodies are currently in the constellation Taurus and will be visible for 2.5 hours after sunset. Around 23:00 Ufa time, Venus will set below the horizon, and 50 minutes later, the Moon will also disappear. Specialists suggest paying attention to the Moon's earthshine on the part of the disc that is not the "slice" illuminated by the Sun. The main part of the circle is illuminated by the Earth and is barely visible.
Also in the west, but much further to the left and higher than the lunar crescent, Jupiter will shine. This giant of the solar system, the Moon, and Venus are the most "recognizable" stars due to their brightness.
