In total, 202 new planters are planned for the city this year.
On the embankment of the Belaya River, 28 new planters with greenery will be installed in addition to the 159 existing ones. This was reported to Bashinform by the Department of Public Utilities and Improvement of the Ufa administration.
It is planned to plant red-osier hawthorn, stephanandra, periwinkle, catnip, and creeping jenny in the rectangular planters, and Woodwardia thuja in the trapezoidal ones.
Rishat Ismagilov, Deputy Head of the Department of Public Utilities and Improvement, added that the plants grown in the planters during the summer season get a "second" life on the ground: they are planted in public gardens.
