Astronomers promise calm space weather for the coming days. The only notable event of the past day was a large plasma ejection from behind the right edge of the Sun. It was produced by an active region opposite the Earth on April 1 and has now "gone" to the other side of the star. So the ejection is now heading in the opposite direction from Earth — straight to Venus. The forecast for the day is exceptionally favorable.
