

The Easter truce will be in effect from 16.00 on April 11 until the end of April 12.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin declared an Easter truce. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.
According to the head of state's order, the Easter truce will be in effect from 16.00 on April 11 until the end of April 12, 2026. Corresponding instructions have been sent to the Minister of Defense, Andrei Belousov, and the Chief of the General Staff, Commander of the Joint Group of Forces, Valery Gerasimov. They have been instructed to ensure observance of the truce regime while maintaining readiness for operational responses to possible incidents.
The Kremlin added that Moscow expects similar actions from the Ukrainian side within the framework of the Easter truce.
