State Traffic Inspectorate of Bashkortostan warned about start of 'Parking' operation

The preventive event will be held in the Republic from April 7 to April 14.

State Traffic Inspectorate officers will monitor how drivers observe the rules for stopping and parking vehicles, including those designated for the disabled. A violation of traffic regulations entails a fine of 5,000 rubles for the driver. In addition, the vehicle is moved to a specialized impound lot, which entails another monetary payment.

The State Traffic Inspectorate reminded that cars parked in violation of the rules create an emergency situation on the road. When walking around cars, pedestrians are often forced onto the roadway, which is unsafe for their lives and health. In addition, cars parked in prohibited places become obstacles for other vehicles, create congestion on the road, and force motorists to violate traffic rules; to drive around the obstacle, they have to move into the adjacent or oncoming lane.
