A veterinarian from Bashkiria sent beef into the "future," the regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
The violation was detected during monitoring of the FGIS "Mercury" system.
On March 24, a state veterinarian serving the Davlekanovo Meat Semi-Finished Products Plant issued a veterinary accompanying document (eVSD) for frozen boneless beef and beef bones with a total weight of 1,399 kg and a production date of September 24, 2026.
"Such distortion of production date data creates risks for product safety and undermines trust in the control system," noted the Rosselkhoznadzor department for Bashkiria.
