Forecasters reported on weather in Bashkiria this week

An air mass from the Central Asian steppes and deserts is entering the territory of Bashkortostan with south-eastern and southern currents, forecasters explain. Abnormally warm weather is being observed, with record-breaking absolute maximum air temperatures.

Active snowmelt will continue, and flooding of low-lying areas of settlements by meltwater will be observed. Rises in water levels are expected on steppe and mountain rivers.

In the last two days of March and on April 1, the daytime air temperature will rise to +11 °, +16°, in some places up to +21°; at night, it will be +1 °, +6°, in some places down to -3°.

According to the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, from March 27 to April 5, average daily air temperatures in the Republic are expected to be 8-10° above normal.

Earlier, Bashinform reported that roads in the Abzelilovsky, Baymaksky, Kugarchinsky, and Kuyurgazinsky districts of Bashkiria were flooded by spring flooding.
