Residents of Bashkiria will be able to see Moon next to Jupiter
The celestial bodies will meet in the constellation Gemini.
According to the Ufa City Planetarium, with the onset of darkness in the southwest, high above the horizon, the Moon will be visible in the first-quarter phase: half of the lunar disk will be illuminated by the Sun. And below the Moon, a very bright "star" (– 2.3 magnitude) will be visible — this is Jupiter, which has been shining very high in the sky at night all winter.
The celestial bodies will meet in the constellation Gemini and will be visible nearby until Jupiter disappears below the horizon at 04:40 at night, and half an hour later, the Moon will also set behind the horizon.
