Spring cleanup dates set in Bashkortostan

Spring cleanups in Bashkortostan will take place from March 27 to May 10. April 18 will be the unified day for the republic-wide cleanup. The dates were announced by Minister of Housing and Communal Services Irina Golovanova during a government operational meeting at the Center for Republic Management.
The Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, instructed the heads of municipalities to conduct thorough cleaning.
"We need to get people out there now and move forward! This is our environment. No one will be harmed by going out and working for three or four hours. The only thing is, it must not be poorly organized. People should come out knowing their work area, tools should be available, and trash removal should be organized immediately. Heads of municipalities, this is a direct instruction to all of you. You must organize this locally," Radiy Khabirov said.
