Flood-prevention trains are being formed in Bashkortostan
The Kuybyshev Railway is preparing for the spring flood. For this purpose, 20 flood-prevention trains have been formed, the company's press service reported. Each train consists of cars carrying crushed stone and rocks, lumber, tools, and machinery.
Currently, workers are opening ditches, mountain and drainage gullies along the railways, removing snow from stations, clearing culverts and trays, and reinforcing the tracks.
The most difficult sections are under special control. One of them is in Ulyanovsk, and the second is the Dyoma — Ufa — Chernikovka stretch.
