Bashkortostan has signed a supplementary agreement to the memorandum with the Federal Road Agency. The region is beginning implementation of a six-year road development program for the 2026–2031 period, according to Lyubov Minakova, head of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
As the minister noted, Bashkortostan was among the top three Russian regions to sign such a document first this year, along with the Kaliningrad region and Adygea.
The new program covers all types of roadwork to be carried out within the framework of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project. In 2026, it is planned to repair nearly 200 kilometers of roads and 15 bridges in Bashkortostan.
