Nearly 23 thousand citizens came out for snow removal cleanup in Ufa

In Ufa today, around 23,000 people came out for a snow-removal cleanup. Employees of enterprises, organizations, administrations, and budgetary institutions, as well as citizens, cleared the streets of snow. In addition, 627 units of equipment were involved in the work.

The cleaning area of streets, sidewalks, public transport stops, intra-quarter, and courtyard territories amounted to 11,728 thousand sq. meters. 8,694 cubic meters of snow were removed.

The head of the city administration, Ratmir Mavliev, also armed himself with a shovel. The mayor noted that spring is rapidly coming into its own, so the task is to remove accumulated snow and ice. At the same time, special attention is paid to the comfort of residents who walk on the sidewalks.
