Residents of Bashkortostan warned about awakening of ticks

The tick activity season in 2026 will begin in early April after positive air temperatures are established. This is reported by the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

The peak danger period will occur in May–June. According to the agency, 14 cases of tick-borne encephalitis and 24 episodes of borreliosis were registered in 2025.
