Lyceum No. 5 in Ufa to undergo major renovation

Lyceum No. 5 in Ufa will undergo a major renovation thanks to the "Youth and Children" national project, according to the city administration.

The project provides for the repair of the roof and facade of the building, which was constructed in 1979, as well as the engineering utilities. Inside, the educational space will be completely transformed. Classrooms, corridors, the cafeteria, the gym, assembly hall, and sanitary facilities—everything is designed with functionality and safety in mind. Work began in January.

Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev inspected the renovation progress and addressed on-site organizational issues. The discussion included heads of the district administration, responsible structural divisions of the municipality, the contracting organization, and the parent community.
