Firefighters conducted preventive raids in Ufa
In Ufa, firefighters were sent to homes to conduct preventive talks. As a rule, the raids take place in the private sector, where people use not only gas units but also stoves. Special attention is paid to single elderly people and large families.
Their equipment, stoves, and fire detectors are checked for serviceability. They are also given leaflets to refresh their vigilance.
As EMERCOM of Bashkortostan reminded, improper stove heating ranks third among the causes of fires. However, they occur even more frequently due to the careless handling of fire and the unsafe operation of electrical appliances.
