Sirens activated in Bashkortostan
Sirens wailed throughout the republic. There is no need to panic: this is a test of the alert systems. As "Bashinform" previously reported, between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., sirens in Bashkortostan are activated for up to 3 minutes, including the interruption of TV and radio signals. This is how the civil defense signal "Attention everyone!" is transmitted.
In Ufa, "smart intercoms" are being used to notify citizens for the first time. A corresponding message appeared on the panels, and simultaneously, more than 12,000 building entrance doors were opened.
