Drunk driver detained in Bashkortostan thanks to citizens' vigilance

In the village of Arkhangelskoye, local residents noticed a suspicious driver in a "Lada" behaving strangely and appearing intoxicated. The citizens immediately reported this via the Bashkortostan State Traffic Inspectorate's chatbot.

The patrol service promptly arrived at Zelenaya Street and stopped the car. The driver turned out to be a 22-year-old man from Uchaly. When the inspectors checked his documents, it was immediately clear that the young man was heavily intoxicated: he smelled of alcohol, could barely stand on his feet, used profanity, and behaved aggressively.

The young man refused to undergo a breathalyzer test or go to a medical facility for examination. He now faces administrative liability under the article for refusing a medical assessment.
