Two shortened work weeks in Bashkiria in March

Long weekends await regional residents due to holidays.

In March 2026, two four-day workweeks are scheduled in Bashkiria to celebrate International Women's Day and Uraza-Bairam.

First week: March 10 to 13.
International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 this year, but since it falls on a Sunday, the day off is transferred to Monday, March 9.

Second week: March 16 to 19.
Uraza-Bairam will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, this year. A four-day work week will be followed by three days off: March 20, 21, and 22.
