Sun to interfere with TV viewing for residents of Bashkiria
From February 18 to March 12, short-term broadcasting interference may occur in Bashkortostan.
As explained by the Agency for Press and Mass Media of the Republic of Bashkortostan, twice a year, in spring and autumn, the Sun aligns with the communication satellite and the ground repeater. At this time, its radio signal can overlap with the satellite signal.
Note that the interference lasts no more than 5 minutes per day. Modern digital technologies minimize the effect, and if necessary, specialists can switch the signal to backup channels. Outdated or improperly configured equipment is in the risk zone.
