Ice rain expected in Bashkortostan

Temperatures will rise to +3°C.

According to the State Committee for Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan, on February 17, the republic will experience cloudy weather. Precipitation is expected to include snow, wet snow, ice, icy rain, wet-snow accumulation on power lines and trees, blizzards, snowdrifts on roads, snow compaction, and icy patches.

Winds will be south, turning to west at 9–14 m/s, with gusts up to 17–22 m/s in some areas. Night temperatures will range from 0 to 5°C, daytime from +3 to 2°C, dropping in the evening to -3 to 8°C. On certain road sections, visibility may decrease to 500–1000 meters due to these weather conditions.

In Ufa, cloudy weather is expected with snow and wet snow, local ice, icy rain, accumulation of wet snow on wires and trees, blizzards, snow drifts, snow compaction, and icy roads. Winds will be south, turning to west at 9–14 m/s, with gusts up to 15–20 m/s. Night temperatures around 0°C, daytime +1 to +3°C, dropping in the evening to -3 to 5°C.
