According to the Bashkir Hydrometeorological Center, on Monday, February 16, weather conditions in the republic will worsen sharply. Snowfall is expected, locally turning into heavy precipitation, along with blizzards and snow drifts. Daytime temperatures will range from -3 to +2°C. Winds will be predominantly southwest with gusts.
Starting Tuesday, February 17, meteorologists forecast light precipitation, including sleet and rain, with icy patches in some areas. Wet snow may accumulate on power lines and trees. Winds will be south to southwest, moderate, with locally strong gusts. Nighttime temperatures will range from 0 to -5°C, daytime from -2 to +3°C.
